Photographers presentation

 SEBASTIAO SALGADO

Leire Calatayud and I have done a presentation about the brasilian famous photographer Sebastiao Salgado. We have talked first about his life, and then about 5 pictures of him. We also talked about 5 photos of our own that are similar to Sebastiaos photos or have the same style. It was very hard to try to replicate his photos because they were taken in very remote places like Rwanda or Sudan.

The photo of the left is one of the photos we took, and is of a palce were they are doing a subway. I took it to compare it whit the bad work conditions they had on the underdeveloped countries as you can se in the right photo of Sebastiao.

  

LETTERING

In class we are working with different tipes of lettering. We have written the word WELCOME in different languages like Basque, French, Japanese, Romani... and each word in a different type of lettering.

MASS MEDIA IN OUR LIFE

First of all mass media is is a diversified collection of media technologies that reach a large audience via mass communication. In my daily life I use different types of mass media:

1. Internet: This one is the mass media that I use the most and for me personally is the better one. You can find any information you want there and is very interesting.

2. El Diario Vasco: This is the newspaper that my parents buy every day. I think that nowadays newspapers are unnecessary because DV for example has a page on the internet. This is a newspaper from Gipuzkoa and it's in spanish and it was created in 1934.

3. TV: Personaly I don't watch television but my parents do. Normaly they see the news in the channel ETB1 or ETB2.

4. Radio: This mass media is the one that I use the least. I only listen to the radio sometimes when I'm going in the car with my dad. 

This is my project for the t-shirt of the European day of Languages.

The European Day of Languages

The 26th of september we will celebrate the european day of languages in Luberri and I think it will be interesting to do different activities related whit this day.

This day is very important because it alerts people to the importance of language and encourages people to study different languages. Also promotes the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe.

I think languages are very important for the personal life of itch one of us and to communicate with other people all over the world.

For this special day we could do a videoclip of a famous song.

 For this special day me and my partners Manex de la Granja and Patxi Yarza did a very fun quiz about football. The quiz has different types of questions that are related with this sport.

Hello I'm Joseba and I'd like to present you my new blog. In this class I want to learn more about English and AVC in general😁👳
